Chicago Chapter
Chapter membership is open to individuals who hold any grade of membership in the international Society. Non-members may attend meetings, and a mailing list is maintained for notifying them of upcoming events. Join the SFPE Chicago Chapter here.
- Annual chapter dues for local members are $35.
- Student membership is available for $0.
- Honorary membership is available for retired local members for $0.

The Society of Fire Protection Engineers
The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) was established in 1950 and incorporated as a not-for-profit membership organization in 1971. It is the world's leading professional society representing those practicing in the field of fire protection and fire safety engineering. SFPE also offers free student membership.
